Growing up in South Dakota, small businesses were always a part of my world. Watching hardworking people pour everything into their ventures sparked a deep respect for the entrepreneurial spirit from an early age. That passion eventually led me to start my own business — where I quickly learned firsthand just how demanding and complex running a company can truly be.

With a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, I have always had a natural eye for numbers and problem-solving. But it was the real-world experience of owning and operating my own business that gave me a true understanding of what entrepreneurs face day to day. That experience is what drives me to show up for our clients the way I do — because I have been in your shoes.

At ATC Bookkeeping LLC, my goal is simple: to take the financial burden off your plate so you can focus on what you do best. You did not start your business to stress over the books — and with me in your corner, you will not have to.

I've spent over 15 years in the financial industry, and I still find genuine satisfaction when the numbers line up correctly at the end of the month — which probably says something about me.

My background spans back-office operations, compliance, QuickBooks, office management, and the full cycle of onboarding new clients and employees — from day-one paperwork to the point where everything runs on its own. Before ATC Bookkeeping, I ran a family-owned business where I handled daily operations, management, and payroll. That experience taught me firsthand that keeping the books correct is never optional. It also gave me a real understanding of what our clients are dealing with — because I've been there myself.

I believe financial clarity is the foundation of a stable business, not a luxury. When your numbers are right, you can make real decisions. When they're not, you're left questioning everything. I'd rather help you avoid that entirely.

I grew up on a farm north of Clark, South Dakota, lived in Iowa for 12 years, and eventually came back home to South Dakota. Most of my career has been rooted in healthcare and financial services, and those industries have shaped how seriously I take accuracy and trust.

I have two grown sons who work alongside me in this business — hopefully you'll get to meet them. I'm proud to be a partner at ATC Bookkeeping.

That mindset drives everything I do — from keeping your books accurate and up to date, to making sure you always have a clear picture of where your business stands financially.

I work with a wide range of clients, from solo ventures to growing small businesses, and I take pride in offering straightforward, reliable bookkeeping services without the confusion or intimidation that often comes with managing finances. As a former teacher, I believe open communication is everything — I want to make sure you always understand the financial decisions behind your books, so nothing ever feels like a mystery.

I bring a fresh, detail-oriented approach to every client I work with. I'm committed to growing alongside my clients and continuously improving the service I provide. Outside of work, I've always been a reader — which might explain why I think every business has its own story to tell. At ATC Bookkeeping, we're here to help you write it.
